| Semi - Assisted Care A Residents who is semi-assisted is defined as one who needs minimal supervision and assistance with activities of daily living. Some of these areas of assistance may include medication administration, nutrition, and occupational or physical rehabilitation. Partial Care Residents who have need of partial care are those who need regular supervision, monitoring and increased assistance of activities of daily living. These activities would include medication administration, nutrition, occupational and physical rehabilitation, assistance with daily personal care, dressing, and bathing. Complete Care Residents who have need of extended care are those who need constant supervision, monitoring and complete support with activities of daily living. These activities would include medication administration, nutrition, feeding, occupation and physical rehabilitation, daily personal care, dressing and bathing. Respite Care Respite Care is for a period of no more than two weeks a month. All of the same services will be provided to the individual receiving respite care as to the full time resident. |
| In some cases, a resident may require a more secure environment or more intense level of staffing. In these cases, Black River Inn works with you and your family for a smooth transition to an environment that can better meet your needs. Black River Inn Adult Foster Care does not provide services to individuals in need of full-time skilled nursing care or who experience persistent or chronic physically aggressive behavior. |

We will be happy to explain our rate structure for our 3 Levels of Care when you come for a tour. The cost of Black River Inn Assisted Living is less than a night in a good hotel room. At Black River Inn Adult Foster Care, we are very aware of the fears and reality of outliving your money. We ask only that you keep us apprised of your situation, so that we can assist you in discussing alternate strategies for affordable living arrangements. |
| Black River Inn is a private pay adult foster care home. Some long term care insurance will pay for a licensed facility. |
